At HABA, we understand that where toys are made can be an important part of deciding which toys to purchase. We’ve listed the country of origin on every product page.

Most of our wooden toys and board games are made in Germany where we have been manufacturing toys for over 80 years! We also partner with carefully selected suppliers in China to produce HABA plush toys and dolls, plastic toys, games and more.

All HABA brand products are rigorously tested to meet or exceed all US and European Federal safety standards for toys. The same is true of items we distribute from Spielstabil and Hubelino.

Quality wooden toys are easy to clean!

The following simple cleaning method will ensure any water-based non-toxic coating or stains on the wood is not damaged by cleaning and the wood underneath is protected: 

Simply wipe with a lukewarm washcloth and dry with a clean cloth. If you must use a cleaning agent, a small amount of vinegar essence mix combined with water works very well.

Do not soak or boil wooden toys in water, do not dry in direct heat or sunlight. The following should be avoided and may damage wooden toys: the dishwasher, bleach, harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive cleaners or scrubbers, antibacterial or sanitizing wipes or sprays, baby wipes, etc.

For the best results, the ball track should be used on a smooth surface like the fiberglass or acrylic tub surround walls, or the tub sidewalls. If you have a tiled and grouted tub surround, the suction cups may not adhere well. Smooth tiles will work best. Tiles with a textured surface may make it hard for the suction cups to hold because they cannot seal completely to the surface.

Tips to increase the hold: Soak in water first or apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to the cup edges to create a seal.

Tips to loosen the hold: Apply soap along the cup edges, or carefully slide a butter knife under the cup to release.

All purchasers, whether a guest or logged in to HABA USA account, will receive an email automatically with the tracking information. Some email carriers will direct these emails to your spam folder. To prevent this from happening, please add customerservice@habausa.com to your address book.

For those with a HABA USA account, you can simply log in and review all of your order information, including tracking.

Once an order is placed, it immediately goes to the warehouse for processing. It may not be possible to cancel or make changes.

Our warehouse team strives to process orders within one business day. In most cases this quick turnaround time works in our customer’s favor.

Shipping

HABA USA offers free standard shipping on all orders over $75 in the contiguous USA. For details, please see our Shipping Information.

We understand that you want your orders to arrive at your doorstep quickly, so we do our best to ship within 24 hours of receiving your order. If you request expedited shipping and your order is received into our system before 12 noon EST, your order will ship that same day.

We admire and respect our military service members, so of course, we will ship to APO addresses. Please be aware that we cannot offer tracking on orders to APO addresses.

We only ship to the US and Canada. HABA and its family of brands are available worldwide through exclusive distributors in each country.

Returns

We expect our customers to be 100% happy with our HABA products. If you change your mind, any unused product can be returned for a full refund within 60 days of purchase. Items must be in new, unused condition, in the original packaging with all the tags attached. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the items were shipped to you in error.

If the item you would like to return was a gift and you are not the original purchaser, store credit will be issued.
