HABA’s Very First Games: Here, Fishy, Fishy - German Version provides children with an off the hook introduction to fishing, while at the same time helping them to develop color recognition, dexterity, and patience. My Very First Games are also the perfect way to introduce young children to first game rules and how to apply them.

There is also the opportunity for free play as children experiment with the fishing rod, the sea and all the sustainably-made wooden sea creatures  to life. Fishing with the rod fosters hand-eye coordination in particular and strengthens concentration skills. It is also a fascinating way to learn about magnetism.

The German Version provides a great way to build on German language learning and vocabulary building but the instructions are in English as well.

Use a cloth dampened with warm water. You may use a small amount of vinegar essence mix combined with water. This works extremely well in destroying bacteria and cleaning wooden toys. Do not submerge in water or place in dishwasher. Disinfectants (even organic baby wipes) should not be used as they can damage the water based coatings that protect the colorful stains beneath.
